Six New Sophisticated Products You've Got to See!

January 13, 2012 at 11:24 AM

Do you like having the latest and greatest or just have fun dreaming about them? Here are a few new products on the market that will rock your kitchen and bath world.

Thermador recently introduced one of the coolest ranges I've seen in a long time, the Pro Grand Steam range. It is the world's first kitchen appliance to offer seven distinct cooking options - steaming, convention baking, burner cooking, simmering, grilling, griddle cooking and warming. Just imagine yourself taking care of Thanksgiving dinner with this in your kitchen!

Believe it or not, technology has even come to the toilet. Introducing Numi, Kohler's most advanced toilet. This sleek toilet includes an LCD touch-screen control panel, a built-in bidet, dual-flush technology, and an auto-open and -close lid. Plus, a built-in music system, a heated seat and a foot warmer(!) will make this a very sought-after seat.

Wouldn't it be great to have a shower that really knows you? The Hansgrohe Rainbrain makes your shower an intelligent experience. This high-tech touch-screen panel allows you to press a button to adjust to a preset temperature, controls spray mode and lighting. It also allows you to check your personal schedule and music via a Bluetooth-compatible smartphone or media player. Singing in the shower just got more fun.

Samsung recently took its refrigerators one step further by adding a Wi-Fi enabled LCD screen loaded with apps. This large-capacity, French-door model allows you to access recipes online, check the weather or get the latest news. You can also leave notes, display photos or check your Google Calendar. Now, if only it could get the groceries…

MicroSilk.jpgAdvances in tub technology are crazy cool too. Jason Hydrotherapy developed MicroSilk™, a process which creates oxygen rich microbubbles. These negatively charged microbubbles penetrate into your pores, bond to impurities, and gently lift them away for a deeper cleansing. This new tub also boasts that the increased oxygen level energizes cells, stimulates the immune system, kills bacteria and promotes healing. A true spa experience in your own house!

mirror_tv.pngIf having a TV in your bedroom just isn’t enough, you can now have one in your bathroom hidden inside the mirror or medicine cabinet. Created by Electric Mirror®, this ultra-thin 15-inch HDTV appears with a click of the waterproof remote. Get the morning news and weather while you brush your teeth. The medicine cabinet also features LED lighting, power outlets and a mirror defogger. Between this and the Numi toilet, I may never see my husband again.
